Safety and Security
We take the safety and security of our children very seriously. We have a sign-in / sign-out policy to make certain that no children leave school without written permission from their parents. We also have a large enough staff to monitor our classrooms to make certain that our children are safe at all times.

First Aid
In Illinois, licensing requires that at least one person be trained and certified in First Aid, and available at all times. At IPELC, ALL our staff members are certified to perform First Aid and CPR.

Our staff is fingerprinted in compliance with the Department of Children and Family Services, and background checks are conducted.

We have an emergency plan and practice fire drills regularly. Our facility has a fire alarm and carbon monoxide detectors, as well as an electric door for security. Our outside play area is enclosed behind a privacy fence.
